Corey, this was a fabulous post! I have lost count of the people I have met with who are looking for a genuine business with integrity and real growth, who have run into incredible scams that give a bad name to the industry. Many of these don't even have a legitimate product, or propose that you will have to put no effort in to grow your business. I'm honored that we're in the same company, with so many leaders who are full of integrity. -Deatria.

Corey, EXCELLENT blog entry. I am relieved to see that I am not the only one that has noticed this very issue. In fact, it boggles my mind when I see those whom I admired as "true mlm/network marketing leaders" now marketing another program priced at up to $10,000 so they can just run off with almost half of it. What angers me the most is when they have to put down the MLM business model to sell their "so-called product." The bottom line is that this is stemmed from a scarcity mindset. The problem with this is that in the short-term you may make more money, but in the long-term, these opportunities only attract those who seek the "fast cash and the desperate easy way out." Secondly, it WILL NEVER LAST because you have to constantly recruit FORVER to consistently make that kind of money. And most importantly your reputation is at stake. Your reputation is your greatest asset when building any networking business, so why would you ever consider sacrificing that. Let's just put it this way... there are a few names in this industry that I would never look at the same. I wouldn't want to be one of those names, how about you?
